Default Problem with JDM parts... Help Please

i've got a couple of problems with my car

1. JDM ITR non-hid headlights
There's something wrong with my passenger headlight because i can't adjust them. They're pointed too far down. And i know the ***** i have to turn to adjust them, but it doesn't seem to make the beam go up or down. How can i fix this?? This is how i got the headlights, so i didnt do anything to em.

And another thing is, does anyone have experience in taking these headlights apart? I want to clean the inside of the headlight and reseal it myself because i think there might be a leak somewhere. Cuz when it rained a cpl of days ago, it fogged up a little bit

2. JDM ITR Climate Control
One of the vents is broken and i was wondering how i could go about fixing it. Is there even a way to fix it??

Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks

Sounds like you need to take these issues up with whoever you purchased the parts from.

chris - who wonders if the climate created by this 'jdm' control is better and makes you happier than the usdm counterpart

The 'JDM' climate control is far superior to its USDM counterpart due to the fact that the 'JDM' unit produces cooler ambient air under maximum acceleration.

BTW: To the original poster in the thread...that appears to be a USDM unit and I'm bet you can buy a climate control anywhere and switch out the vents not positive they are removable though......

That's a USDM climate control unit.

On the JDM unit the hazard button is on the right, and the rear defroster on the left. The buttons could have been switched, but that's the only difference between the JDM and USDM climate controls.

In JDM'ville they drive on the "other side" of the road, and therefore the headlight adjustments aren't optimal for us here in the states with LHD, and where we drive on the right hand side of the road.

As to what to do about it ... possibly some washers on/at the attachment points of the headlight assy. to the chassis.

Good call, Ed.

Line up square to a wall at night, and apply engineering fluid liberally until you come up with a good pattern.

actually....those vent blades are removeable. I've done it on one from a junkyard and swapped it over to a USDM A/C unit shortly before buying the faux cf stuff myself Its a pain in the *** and it takes very steady and careful hands to do. But rather than to go through that and take the risk of scratching it up pretty good.....I'd go and ask the seller of the item what they will do for you first.

be very afraid.....they'll probably say that they'll replace it. If they do...then....

according to https://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/

for the type R, that part itself ( not including the buttons n switches ) cost about $216.23 list price...but they will sell it for $183.80 plus shipping online. If you look at Integra, 2001, 3dr Type R, Instrument Panel Garnish, and illustration number 24. You can expect it to be around the same anywhere else you go.
