how do i know if my codes are clear

Default how do i know if my codes are clear

i check my code in my 94 civic cx. i put in a paper clip and jump the two wires near the ecu. i turn on my key and they CEL does not blink or anything. how can i tell if my car has no problems?

if your CEL does not flash then that means you have no codes

If you had codes previously and then think you fixed the problem, make sure you reset the battery so that the codes will reset. Then its just as stated above.^^^

did u have a CEL to start with? or do u still have a CEL going?
