my brother killed my eg part 2
i made a post a while ago about my brother overheating the my 4 door till it shut off and then puring water all over the motor
. well
i got it runing again. it needed new dizzy, plugs, and wires. (the old wires wre melted into the sockets).
when i inspected the plugs they had no oil or coolant. the car dosent but out any white smoke(i was using water) dont konw if that make s a difference. and i didnt see any oil in the water.
it is leaking alot by the timing belt area. im thinking and praying water pump. but is it possible that it could be the head gasket? just trying to make sure so i dont put everything back to gether to find out its the head gasket, thanks

Did you inspect the block and head for cracks? Depending on how bad he screwed the car by running it hot you could have severe internal damage. Could be a blown head (most likely if he ran it hot) but that can also lead to more problems. I suggest you take a close look and if you are gonna replace the head gasket, tear it apart to see if there is any other damage before spending money. Good luck.
head is most likely warped.. you should not run straight water in your cooling system cause it will cause rust.. and rust on the sleeves is not good.
Coolant has a lubricant in it and keeps everything nice and smoothe flowing.. minumum ratio is 25 coolant 75 water.
