That sound is the oil pressure for your IVTEC(Ignition VTEC)
Some cars have IVTEC because sometimes it takes a long time to start and when that happens IVTEC kicks in and starts that bitch up! Sometimes it even drains your battery.

Laugh at your gf, close your door, put on yourseat belt and turn the car on

Umm, that's your fasten seatbelt chime. But I also like the above poster's idea.

That IS the seat belt chime. If that's not it, then tell us what exactly the seat belt chime is and when it comes on.

I did give you a real answer, the blinker fluid was a joke, and I said so. I gave you the answer afterwards. There is NOTHING in the car that will beep like you say except for the seat belt chime (and on some cars, when you leave the lights on when you turn off the car and open your door). Got me? Nothing.

I've been building/swapping/turboing/supercharging engine's, studying ICE theory, etc for probably 13-15 years. It makes me laugh when you try to insult me and you can't even recognize a seat belt chime.

Okay, you have a point there. I just ran out to my car in the parking lot and checked. If I had my seat belt plugged in before I turned on the car, the chime didn't sound. If I didn't, then it did. If I plugged it in during the chime, it would stop in the middle.

Keep in mind, however, that if your car is stock and has stock electrical components, there is nothing else that will beep or make a similar noise.

EDIT: Turns out I didn't actually post the blinker fluid joke. I thought I did here, however, I did it in another thread, not this one.

it is the seat belt chime like everyone has been saying. get in the car, and put ur seatbelt on and close ur door before putting ur key in the ignition. either way it's not a big deal.

Note, however, that he said he puts on his seat belt BEFORE he turns the ignition. After trying this, the seat belt chime does NOT sound.
