car flutters until warmed up
when i start my car, and start driving it makes this kwazi tick-ish fluterry sound.it does this till ive gone up the street a couple miles then it goes away, but if my car is off for a couple minutes then itll do it again.
is it valves(something repairable?)or something else i need to have replaced/adjusted
i keep the oil changed before its due or the exact time,so my oil shouldnt be affecting it should it?

is it like a constant "ehzhzhzhzhzhhhh" noise thats kind of like a grinding noise where the timing belt is? because mine is going the same, and its only when not warmed up. and after i start the ignition and the rpms go up, it starts the noise about 3 seconds after its running, so its a delayed noise at first.

could be LMA if it is a vtec, need oil to get inside them to stop the sound, my b16 used to do this but stopped when warmed.

try some thinner oil, 5w/30, easier for the oil to get insde them. Does it do reallly bad if the car has been sitting say for 2 days?
