how much whp r we lookin at on a 94 teg with 8psi of boost?
bought the turbo kit for my car today, got rid of the old k26. now i need the funds to get it installed and tuned with e manage. so i was wondering if it was tuned to perfection with the e manage @ 8 psi, around how much whp would we be lookin at and estimated 1/4 time?
Depends on the tuning! You'll get different number with different setups.
250-300whp hopefully though.
Good Luck man.

i recently had my turbo gsr tuned with just a vafc on 10psi and i made about 305whp. and this is on a completely stock motor. it all depends on your setup.
hondata, and it all depends on the turbo and the tune! what kind of motor? i would say about 300ish by guesstimating!

that is dangerous! and i don't know u are usign a piggy back computer with larger injectors? i would seriously think about changing that engine mangement!!
as to the question depends on the turbo u have, 8 psi can mean different numbers depending on the turbo, with that said what turbo are u running?? also hondata is by far a better unit then the emange, i personally am using a chipped obd1 p72 tunned with crome pro on my 01 turbo gsr.. i don't have any numbers yet casue i haven't taken it to the dyno i still have some other things i want to do before it goes on the dyno, but never the less i have fully tunned it with my buddy!

EMS

crome pro is a tunning program, like hondata.. ems is nice but not worth the money u will have to spend, u don't need an fmu, u need to do a lot more reaserch, its a lot more envolved then just slapping on a turbo kit, make sure u allow money for good engine mangement, good fueling and good tunning, but do your RESEARCH!
i tried bro yet still so complicated. i guess i wont understand it all until i have it and really find out how it all works. what would i need for engine management? someone break it down for me and explain a bit pleeeez. noob to the turbo route.
ENGINE MANAGEMENT IS HOW YOUR ENGINE IS RUNNING.
A fmu is a type of engine management.... a crappy one.
Hondata,Crome, Uberdata, or any other program where you can datalog and change fuel tables is a better one.
A fmu works with stock injectors.
With hondata, you can upgrade your injectors, (reccomended)

What are the components of your turbo?
If it's all Greddy (18g Turbo) stuff (assuming since you are going to use the emanage), 8lbs will net you close to 200whp (RS/LS Motor).
So what exactly is your turbo kit?
I have a GSR (stock bottom end/head, custom pieced turbo kit and running 6.5-7psi = 260WHP.

no i start getting traction in 2nd as long as its not raining. since im only tuned with the vafc with larger injectors i know im gonna eventually have to get better management like hondata, uberdata, crome, etc. but i dont beat on my car everyday(hardly ever hit vtec) and my a/f ratio is good(low 12s) so i think ill be fine until then.
