Default supercharged SH

does anyone on here have a jrsc'd SH. i found a great deal on one and dont wanna pass it up. I am just wondering what I can expect from supercharging my SH.
Once it is tuned it will be between 235-245 whp on a dynapack dyno (People on here say that u cant go above 250whp with ATTS.)
How is gas mileage?
is it as reliable as Jackson claims?
any reccomendations of parts I should replace?
I was already going to do a full exhaust and fuel pump which jackson reccomends, as well as a full tune-up
Any issues with ATTS after SC?

do it, but beware if you catch the boost bug, supercharger won't cut it(hard to up the PSI) so if your happy with the 9 PSI belt max, go for it

i would personally do it, thats plenty of power and im more of a sc kinda guy

Ill be fine at that much power, Im mainly looking for low end torque, im happy with my high end power already. and I bought my Sh because of the ATTS, the last thing I want to do is lose that feature.
I thought the JRSCs were 6psi outta the box w/ an upgradeable pulley to 9psi?

also would it be a good idea to swap my timing belt tensioner if I am going to boost my motor? I will be changing all my belts at the same time as doing the JRSC.

I'd go ahead and get the Greddy indestructible timing belt, H23 manual tensioner, and anything else you feel like upgrading while you're at it. A new set of cams will really improve your SC

i have to watch how much power i gain, I was considering cams but in the end i think theyll put me a lil too close for comfort to that 250hp wall.
The place that is doing the install JE import performance in baltimore installed, tuned, and dynoed a 98 sh with a JRSC and thermal cat back, aem intake, and dc 421, got it to 245. Jackson says that the h22 responds really well to IHE with thier SC.
from jackson's FAQ page:
Q: Do intake, header, and exhaust upgrades help the Supercharger?
On DOHC applications the addition of an intake will allow the Supercharger to draw air in freely and make the power it should. We have found short intakes, such as our Jackson Racing line, to be better suited to the Supercharger than the long and skinny cold air intake
Header and Exhaust both give nominal Hp increases. The Prelude is the exception. It will benefit from an Intake, Header, and Exhaust. Our Supercharged Prelude with Intake dyno'd at 212-215HP at the wheels (see dyno page). We added Header and Exhaust to our Prelude and HP increased to 234HP at the wheels

I had one but never installed it and now i am selling it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
I never got around to putting it on because as soon as i realized all the money I was going to put into the prelude I decided to wait and just buy an RX-7 so now I am selling it. But I did buy a kamikaze header which is exclusively for the SH model which I was also going to sell on ebay but if you want it let me know. If you bother to do any research you will find that this is the best header you can get for a supercharged lude. Unless you want to drop a grand on a mugen or smsp. Let me know if you areinterested and I will email you some pics. $150, Or if you have any other questions let me know. I did a lot of research before I bought the supercharger and I went with it because I too did not want to lose the atts.
