Default Base Map for eg coupe

Hi, I have a fully built D16Z6 (for nitrous) with 440cc injectors, 255lph fuel pump and tuning is with a V-AFC II and I was wondering what would be a good basemap for the car just to get it running? Should I reduce the fuel 15%? I just need a basemap so I can get the car running to bring it to the dyno and it get it tuned right. Thanks in advance!! BTW the V-AFCII is only being used for now until I upgrade to a Hondata S200.

I think with DSM 450cc injectors in a d16z6 normally the VAFC settings should be about -40% accross the board.

If I were you, I would set it to -35% or so, and see how it runs. Don't push it too hard though, take it easy until you get on the dyno or use a wideband to see where your AF ratios are at.

I would swap out the 450s. I think 310 are fine for what you need.

And for a basemap i would just tow the car there or ditch the VAFC

These are not DSM 450's they are RC 440cc injectors. I'm running these now because I am turboing the car later on in the winter. I also have a AFPR and basically everything aftermarket for the whole engine setup.

Right. So, since the standard for 450s is -40%, and you have 440s, try -35% and see how it runs.

OK well the vafc was wired in and ran -35%, after that we ran the engine for a little bit and it idles fine but once you give it some throttle it starts to act up and it'll shut right off, we cant even get passed 2000rpm. Any info on this would be great.

You need to get it tuned. Just drive it with your hazards on and have a friend behind you.
