how hard is it to change a CV joint or axle. And will an H22 CV axle fit on a Prelude?
think the CV joint is bad. I've seen rebuilt axles for not much more so I might just do the whole thing. I actually don't know much but I've done all things like valve adjustments, distributor, and brakes by reading forums and guides. This however seems to be a bit more difficult
get the axle for that year lude with an H22, it might even be the same across the board, just make sure they are axles for the vtec engine. if you go with autozone or similar they come with a lifetime warranty
It's not difficult. You just need a 36mm socket (preferably an impact) for the axle nut. You can do it with a decent impact gun or a big breaker bar. Everything is pretty straight-forward.
ok thx for the all the suggestions. And damn, I just change the tranny fluid 2 weeks ago. Haha and the shop around here charges me $10 a quart for Honda MTF. Think I'm going with Penzoil Sychromesh this time
