would an O2 sensor fix the problem?
my friend has an OBD1 with an OBD2 header on it it throws a check engine light and it runs really rich! if i just screwed an old o2 sensor that wasnt hooked up to anything would that work or could i just throw a bolt in there for him and if so what size and thread?
well the original O2 sensor for the header is gone the stock one from the stock header is in the appropriate place but the hole for the second O2 sensor is before the stock hole. so thats why im wondering if a bold or old O2 sensor would work
he said it was a fuel code and i know its not the lines or the filter the injectors or anything. but i do know that at stoplights you get a really nice 93 smell. im wondering if because of the hole it is running rich i have tried everything i can think of
i've been here a while. what i've learned:
