Default O2 sensor!!

this is regarding a 2000 gsr. i am currently running a test pipe on my car. i read that if you took out the o2 sensor and wraped it in foil paper, then zip tie it, everything would be fine, and i woundn't throw a check engine code. what do i do to prevent this code??? Is my car running in safe mode?? i also heard of a dummie O2 sensor that u could buy and replace the current one with. well thanks in advance.

That only works for the secondary o2 sensor. The first o2 sensor is VERY important and is the only reason you have decent gas mileage.
