how about the SE badge....since there was never a se vtec, there is no badge "appropriate"

maybe you can get a huge sticker for your bumper that says SE-VTEC

Well what was the car called that the h22a comes out of in japan.

 

Type R

 

Actually, it was Super Type R and then a bunch of awesome kanji after it.

dont advertise what you have. kinda like not posting your license plate, but in real life. or simply put

internet = no license plate
real life = no talking about anything under your hood

i thought about doing the same thing when i got my h22a swap in my 92 prelude S. i was thinking about calling it an "S-VTEC" but decided to just keep it sleeper. to me doesnt matter what you call it or what emblems it has on it, just matters how it performs

Why would you get a Type R badge when no such car was ever produced for the prelude line, you would be a ricer if you aren't one already.

On 4th gens the VTEC models came with a little sign on the trunk under the Prelude emblem that said DOHC VTEC like this:

This is the only reasonable decal you could put on your car without being classified as a ricer.

Well...being able to correctly spell VTEC will definitely help in your search. Also, given that your car is none of those, so to say it is would be dishonest.
