These things are a pretty neat gimmick...Functional i suppose nice to not have to mess with the prop that sucked anyway... Maybe over time they will get worked in so they open automaticaly still pretty stiff on the way up to full open...way down is perfectly smooth though...overall i like em.

Yeah I'll be getting the tein's soon. Are these hard to install? That's probably a stupid question but I've never known anyone personally to have these.

Do you think they would eventually put stress cracks in the cf? I was thinkin about getting them but I'm a little worried about screwing up my VIS hood.
No cutting or drilling...They are made by Tein model specific fit is perfect..they mount to an existing fender bolt and a bracket to put on one of the hood bolts.
