Just recieved these from evasive motorsports and installed today.

we sell them, only complaint i have is their a tad hard to get down, def nice though

 

These things are a pretty neat gimmick...Functional i suppose nice to not have to mess with the prop that sucked anyway... Maybe over time they will get worked in so they open automaticaly still pretty stiff on the way up to full open...way down is perfectly smooth though...overall i like em.

i have them on a cf hood though

Yeah I'll be getting the tein's soon. Are these hard to install? That's probably a stupid question but I've never known anyone personally to have these.

Install is a cakewalk.

 

install took me about 10 min and that includes taking the rod prop out and throwin it in the back yard

 

Best part is chucking that hood scratcher they call a prop...

does it requires cutting and drilling?? does it hit the hood when closed?

 

I'm really considering buying a pair of these

 

Do you think they would eventually put stress cracks in the cf? I was thinkin about getting them but I'm a little worried about screwing up my VIS hood.

 

No cutting or drilling...They are made by Tein model specific fit is perfect..they mount to an existing fender bolt and a bracket to put on one of the hood bolts.
