I heard TEIN hood dampers is not recommended for CF hoods, because the dampers are stiff and CF are much lighter then OEM hoods.

yea you probably dont need it for cf hoods since they're light neways.

hey i was wonderin...if u installed those dampers on a cF hood, would it help prevent, the hood from slamming into ur front windsheild due to high speeds on the freeway or some sort like that?...

It would probably hold it up but the pressure from the wind would most likely result in the fiberglass giving away where it bolts onto the hood damper.

I've heard no problems from use of these on CF hoods
