i went to replace the valve cover and chagne over to my p13 ecu on h22 swap in my 94 vx. once i hook the batery terminal back up i heard a ticking...maybe clock or cd being ejected and it will not stop . tried to start car nothing won't even turn over so i switched back to AEM.... same story. the hazards blink 5 times and stop when keys in ignition and 3 times when there not?

what happend? i tryed to unhook battery terminals again and still nothing

 

something todo with the wireing for suuure, is the ecu wireing and hooked up rite?

 

well i got a code 6 when checking the code but should that stop my car from starting it the ect code.

 

i was looking at the manual and what fuses do i pull to reset the ecu i said under the hood so i looked under the hood and there are alot of fuses in the fues box which one's do i pull

 

ok the owner before installed a alarm and that was trigged and there is no horn or alarm sound. so the alarm was disambling the engine damn thing had me going nutz.

i have to pull all of the wiring now and to see where everythings attached. i started now i'm getting a check engine light and a srs light that blinks???

I was going to guess it was an alarm. I had the same thing happen to me.

Is the CEL still showting code 6?

 

no just egr code

i'm getting a blocking plate for it but do you mount the egr on top of the blocking plate and keep it pluged in?

 

Something is wrong with the wiring or there is a short somewhere.
