Default S-AFC 2 VS V-AFC 2

Hello,

I have a 94 honda accord and I am swapping in an H22. I was wondering which A'PEXI controller I should go with.

S-AFC 2 - seems you can tune more stuff with this, cannt change v-tec settings
V-AFC 2 - you can tune some and it has the v-tec adjuster

Let me know your opions and experiances thanks.

are you shitting me?

If you're swapping in an h22 why not go with the vafc2? If you don't thats just plain stupid.

Go with hondata.

The vafc can do everything the safc can

Very true. But hopefully if he had nitrous he wouldn't be using a safc or any piggy back.

I say go with hondata. There's a guy in the forced induction classifides with one for sale. For like $450........w/p28 ecu and everything. Its the s300. Buy that. It'll be way worth it. Seeing as though I bought mine for $717

Two maps would be good if I do decide to go with nitrous. Does being able to change the v-tec point really help

I don't want to go with hondata. Its an accord so just being able to tweak some settings will do.

Who cares? You're swapping in an h22........what does that have to do with not doing hondata? I think you're just being cheap. Hondata is nothing complicated. The s300 sits right inside the ecu....with a port to connect a usb cable. Thats it. Nothing crazy while trying to install. And its a great system.

be careful how you use piggy back if you are in such support of hondata, hondata is a piggy back, a vafc is commonly known as a "hack"....a lesser piggy back....

to the poster, if you are so interested in adjusting settings that you would have to choose between the safc or vafc, then what about hondata is not appealing to you??

if its because your car is obd2, just keep your stock ecu for inspection time....hondata is better than a vafc or safc in every way....its easier to install also...
