I was replacing my spark plugs today as when I was removing the old ones there was oil from the nut up. Seemed like oil was pooling up right above the threads. I was wondering if this was a valve cover gasket leak, and if not how the oil got there and wat I need to do to fix the problem. THnx
One of the disadvantages to having center mounted spark plugs is that they literally have to go thru the Valve cover to reach the head.
I don't see your year and model mentioned anywhere, so I'll have to make a generic illustration.
These are the Pieces you need (You get the idea)
VALVE COVER DETAIL: (5), (15) Gasket & Grommets
http://www.hondaautomotivepart...COVER
CYLINDER HEAD DETAIL (19) (ORING) (spark plug wells)
http://www.hondaautomotivepart...81%29
Hopes this helps

I like helping guys out, but it's harder for me ken. I don't have all the links and stuff like you and P do. That makes it a lot easier when you can just say read this, and be done with it. I saved that link though.
