oil in spark plugs

Default oil in spark plugs

I was just changing my spark plugs and they are full of oil, what can this be?

oil...

It's your spark plug tube seals. There are two sets, 4 upper seals between the valve cover and rocker arm assembly (Yellow). Then another 4 lower O-rings between the rocker assembly and the cylinder head (Red).



If you buy a valve cover gasket kit it should have all of the appropriate gaskets and O-Rings.
