2006 Accord Thottle Position Sensor
I would like some help. I am installing a nitrous controller and need to know where to splice in the connect the throttle position sensor. I am using an FJO Racing Controller, http://www.nitrousexpress.com/...h.pdf and want to make sure it is hooked up correctly. Also, is this a rising or falling voltage splice. Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks,
Rich

Well this could be a problem on an '06. I don't have any experience with the nitrious system, but i can tell you that the Accords have gone to drive by wire... no throttle cable. Thus the throttle body is not as conventional as they once were. I am not certain if there is a single TPS on these cars anymore, or if it is all totally contained in the throttle actuator unit. Why would you want to subject the car to nitrous anyway? I'm not going to flame you or call you an idiot, to each his own.... but an 06 is not cheap and if you want to go fast, there are better cars for it. Just curious.

I figured it out. If anyone needs to know, tap into the center wire on the throttle body TPS sensor. Rising voltage. Hope this may help someone else out.
I agree there are faster, cheaper cars out there, all I am doing is giving it a little boost to help merge onto the freeway...

cactusjuice,
I would love to know what you have done to the car thus far? I have 05 TypeS (Euro Spec) and is considering a supercharger (Comptech USA), or fitting a T5 and maybe some gas later. At this point I want to increase power output without sacrificing reliabilityk, as the car is still under warranty.
I have already fitted a K&N filter, a “piggy-back chip” and removed the cat. This resulted in around 15kw and a whole lot better gas mileage.

This is the project. Make my wife's four door sedan fun to drive. I have installed a AEM CAI, Neuspeed strut tower brace and rear sway bar, Magnaflow exhaust and all the B.S. Honda Accessories - fog-lamps, spoiler, yada yada yada...
Just installing a small shot of N2O to up the power a bit, Nitrous Express EFI Stage 1 with a 50 shot and a FJO Racing progressive mini control to keep it under control and fully automatic. I'm going overboard to cover my a$$ for warranty - hiding everything, mounting the solenoids to the fender and hiding behind fender-well trim, hoses up underneath the AEM - black wire loom on everything and the like. If I need any work done I will remove what I can without much work.
