I am currently doing a swap. 2001 gsr into 94 hatch. It's in, but will not starts. cranks but no start. Have harness from 01 gsr, but is running a 95 gsr ecu. Is that the problem or do I need the 01 ecu? Wanted to keep it obd1. Also, do I have to get the obd2 to obd1 conversion harness to make it work? Need help, car is just sitting in the shop.

Oh, yeah, forgot. the injectors are not getting any signals as well. Hooked up a noid light to it and it was not flashing, but can see fuel pressure. I've read that you have to hook up the knock sensor and have the ecu chipped. I have a p72 ecu right now. Need help asap please. Searched and found several different answers where everyone is contridicting each other. Thankf for your time.

Well, I'm using the 01 gsr engine harness that connnects directly to my dx chassis harness. I've read that you can do it that way, but how to make it work? that's why I was able to hook up the 95 gsr ecu, because I'm still using the 94 dx chassis harness. Is it possible to make it work, I've read that it is but not sure. Need help.
