New car!!
OK guys I got rid of my gsr and now have a base 02 rsx. DOn't ask questions I only paid 8k for it. Anyone know of any supercharger kits for the base or anything good to pick up some good power. I know the one real diference between mine and the type s is 3 more points of compression and a different cam shaft. Everything I find is for the type s! He me out pease!!
before you ask I bought it from a friend that drove it for a while and just got a s2k. Also just for info it has 65k on it!

Jackson Racing has a supercharger kit for the base and Comptech is still producing theirs. But it is coming out for the base model. Dont' expect the gains to be too drastic though, superchargers put the base model at about 220 to the wheels.
Greddy, CN, and SCI kits will also work with the base model with a little extra work.

Yeah, your right. I though it was released by the title but Jackson is also still in production.

theres more of a difference in the type s and base than just the cams...in fact the head is completely different. The vtec isn't even the same. Look into it. Best mod for you would be a k20a2 head swap or even a k20a head swap

I just said this in somebody else's thread, but the best advice I can give is to drive the car for a while before you start making changes. You want to make exactly sure what kind of changes you want to make.
After driving the car for a while, you might find that your mind is moving toward suspension changes first instead of power changes.
It wouldn't cost you much to get the EP3 final drive and the Torsen axle out of a DC5 ITR that had it installed. That might give you a head start toward handling the power you eventually get.
(I'm pretty sure the 2002 USDM base RSX has the longer final drive. Please check to make sure. All USDM EP3 Si came with the CTR 4.40 final drive.)
If you insist on wanting to make more power sooner than later, you might want to call P1 Auto in Carolina. They have made some really very decently performing turbo daily drivers down there.
