I am installing an ls/vtec in my 89 crx. We finished the wiring today expect for the knock sensor (wondering if i need to wire the knock sensor with the pw0 ecu?) everything else is wired up. so we checked if the ecu was throwing any codes so when we turned the key on the ecu light just stayed on and the main relay under the dash that is for the ecu just makes this constant anoying sound. so im wondering if the ecu is bad or just the relay, or could it just be the wiring? another question was i wired up the the vtec oil pressure. we wired the blue/wht wire to the ecu as for the black one...do we just ground that to the chassi? this is my first time with this swap so im sure ill have more questions soon enough so all help would just be great.
