what kind of work did they do at the body shop?? were you in an accident?? how many miles have you been slammed on your RA's?? what is your current setting on your RA's?? and last but not least..... does this current highway ramp have a smooth surface? or is it filled with bumps? holes? cracks in the road?

i never had problmes on this turn before. I believe i have like 3k's miles on them? and evreything is the same. i nevre changed my settings or anything. It was a body shop to pain my trunk and when they vandalized the car for the top the guy took it to some shop in DT LA and when i took the car i had hafl a tank, i got it back with 0 bars, it was onthe red bar with only 44 miles on the car that they drove so obviously they gunned it and i dont know if they did anything with teh suspension, maybe changed the settings or what. Like during the turn, the front of the car, like where the fender is by the door till thenose of the car seems to be the bouncy side.

uggh, that sucks. i always write down the mileage before i let anyone do anything on my car. the only way you can fight them is if you have some sort of proof. go ask them why they needed to drive your car for 44 miles if they were just painting it. if anything, it should have .05 miles on the car or less. it would only need to be moved in and out of the dust free area to paint the car and maybe other places to sand down the car.

if the guy drove it downtown and stuff.. many things could of happend during his trip that he probably won't tell you...he could of hit a pot hole at high speeds or while turing and messed your alignment, he could of adjusted things on it (which he shouldn't) but you never know...

I say you re-look and re-check everything .. suspension wise...check your settings make sure they are the same as what you had it set up to before... make sure nothing is out of wack down there... sway bar, control arm yada yada... and maybe you might want to take it in for an alignment (just incase)....

make a note to yourself tho... never let your body shop drive the car more then 2-5 miles tops..... and if they do.. you better be in the car with them

the steering response doesnt feel teh same anymore. What can this be from? when i got hte car back the alignment was INCREDIBLY bad and it needed to be balanced but they took the 2 rims on the right to resurface so i dont know if that had anything to do with it. But the alignment doenst seem as bad on the new tires and the steering response seems to be the same as far as not as responsive as before. Why?

We dont know you or your car so its going to be hard to pin point exactly what is wrong. First thing I would do if I was you is make sure all your setting are right on the ***** on top. Maybe while working on something they accidently turned them. Next check your tires. Make sure they are up to par. Correct air pressure and in good condition. After that get under the car and check the sway bars. See if those are still all in good condition and bolts there. Also look at the suspenion maybe one of the perches came loose and something is messed up there. With only 3k miles on them they still should have plenty of fluid, but you might want to check them for leaks, especially since you're so low. Last, do like said above and have the alignment checked out. Bolts might have come loose or something might be bent. GL and hopefully you find out whats wrong with it.

hey guys, i just got back from gettin my car aligned and wheni came back to the car and asked him if it was offf he goes "not only was it off, your car was in horrible shape" he said teh alignment was real bad and the camber and thread wear and all that stuff loll sorry i dont have much knowledge of this field as some of you guys. He showed me on the paper and tried to explain all the toe/camber/ and alignment problems by the percentage and degree. I will Scan that paper and post it up adn maybe some of you guys can tell me if it was really bad and the cause for some of these problems taht i stated. The steering does seem a lot more stiffer like before and response with small short jerks. the tires seem to still give the car body roll during those quick left adn right jerks...assuming they aren't as good as the so2's. They are brand new 750's btw.
