I was wondering, the H23 is closed deck (I think, correct me if I'm mistaken), relatively forced induction friendly compression ratio (9.8:1, correct me if I'm mistaken), right. This combo seems good for forced induction. However, from what I've heard on this forum, you can only boost 6-8 psi. Why can't you boost a bit more on a stock block?

either get a good conservative tune or sleeve it and put in forged pistons.

 

sleeeve it, I am successfully running 11lbs of boost daily, on my h23, and its running great, no problems at all

I have been looking to turbo charge my h23 and a lot of the kits I find are for h22's, will a kit for an h22 work on my h23? This is the first honda I have owned so I am not familiar with what works with what yet. Any info or advice on what kits and where to get them would be great.

 

there's plenty of kits for the h23. drag, maxrev, f-max, revhard. but the h22 kit wont fit the h23 because the mani has a different bolt pattern.

 

what kind of horse power and torque can I expect if I turbo charge a stock h23 and run 7-8psi of boost, I have been hearing thats a pretty safe psi to run for this motor.
