Default master cylinder Q's for a 88 rex si

mine is leaking, basicaly im going through about a pint of fluid a week. i know of an 95 integra parts car, will the master cylinder off that fit on my rex, thanx for anyone who knows.

I dont think it will, but you can get one off of an 89 or so Prelude, it will give you a better pedal feel.

no, youll need to swap the booster as well. and you really shouldnt use it anyway.

just get a OEM replacement.

well i can get the teg one for free, and i dont really have money right now, thats why im looking at the teg. oem replacement would be hella sweet, but im sure it probably a little expensive.

well you cant use it without the whole brake booster. and its not that easy to swap boosters.

well, everything is there brake wise in the teg., but ill just go to to the junkyard to see what i can find. is there any difference between any of the 88-91 civics, like four door, rex, hatch, theres always a couple of 4 door there that i could get this from cheap. or how about the 90-93 teg?

4dr EX has a 1" MC that is swappable, also has a 9" booster, compared to 8" normal.

prelude MC Si and accord has a 1" MC as well and fits stocks.

i really think youre wasting your money buying junkyard master cylinders tho. who knows how good it is. if yours is shot, what do you think the chances a car in the junkyard is any better...
