the rev limiter kicks in rather low (if you consider that to be low.) i think it sounds good though. i cant wait to see the honda engine...

Not being an F1 engine GURU, is that the MAIN source of fuel we're seeing, injectors on the top of the throttle bodies (throttle body injection?) or is that just additional fuel?
I'm wondering if they (F1 engine builders in general) have decided that accelerating the entire fuel/air mixture through the intake trumpets makes better power than accelerating the air and then injecting fuel into the air stream just before the intake valves.
Interesting.

Interesting.
Isn't Audi playing with direct injection technology (similar to TDI diesels) with their turbo charged R8 LMP1 motors (and maybe on their turbo street cars too)? By direct injection, I mean injecting fuel right into the combustion chamber rather than into the air stream before the valve, or like the Renault F1 video into the throttle body.
Two different extremes?

Seems to me that direct injection gives you much better control over the when and what aspects of the fuel mixture for better economy (the R8's trump card is its fuel consumption, there are plenty of cars capable of the same or better pace).
