CEL on '00 Civic w/GSR

CEL on '00 Civic w/GSR
I'm getting a CEL everytime my car hits vtec or high rpms . Here is my setup:
-2000 Civic DX HB
-1997 GSR swap
-p72 94-95 GSR ECU
-OBD2 to OBD1 jumper harness
However, if i turn the car off and on again the CEL is gone. Also if i just drive the car normally without reaching the high RPM's it give me no CEL. I've tried to check for the CEL but it didn't give me any. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

you sure it's not givin you a code??
to me it sounds like a bad o2 sensor or something. if it's the primary, the cel would blink once really fast, and continue in that fashion when you check for the codes.

oh same thing happened to my brother's accord.. um, he just kept driving it like that and turning engine off and on when the CEL came on.. um, good luck with this problem of yours..
