oil cooler question
on the auto rad's there is a trans cooler but since i have a 5spd i pluged the lines.
well i want to use the trans cooler in the rad as the oil cooler for the block.
my question is where do i run the lines? where on the block is a good spot?
oh and i have a 95 accord ex coupe

Look up a company like TransCool, or do a "GOOGLE!!" search under auto oil cooler and scare up about a ga'zillion hits.
Traditionally some made an adapter which sandwiched between the block and the Oil Filter, allowing both an output and a return hose to be connected.
A remote Oil filter kit would be the same thing.

ps: I'd take a moment and ask around about PSI operating pressures for both the Tranmission and the Engine (between 50 & 65 psi). The Trans cooler may not be rated for the Engines psi.

it's too cool huh? too bad they didnt mention it will drop the pressure by placing a filter there, do you think it will affect your tranny? cool huh?
and to answer the guy's question , DONT use the cooler you have, if you really want a oil cooler get one instead, the atf cooler are built to withstand the oil pressure of the auto tranny, not the block.
there's tons of oil cooler out there, big one, small one, fat one and thin one with a puller fan on. they runs about 100dollar and they are built for the engine's oil pressure.
