Default obd1 or obd2?

Hey guys i did do a couple of searches but what came up did not answer my question, but I did get some good info Thanks H-T.

Question is I have a B18B1 Engine and was wondering how could I tell if its obd-1 or obd-2? Is there anyway I could tell from looking at the engine or engine harness?

I need to know so I know what ECU I need for my swap.
If you guys could help me asap cause I may have a lead on an Obd-2 P75 if that is what I need.

Thanks so much in advance!!!!

if it has a plug down by the crank pulley that goes by the oil pump its obd 2.

what abd car are you running it in. thats the ecu you want to run it will make your life easier if you run obd-1

I was lucky enough to have both harnesses which ever one is the easiest is the one that i will use. I was thinking the b18's harness would be the best because i would not have extend any wires. Below are pics of the distributor...

the pictures dont work. the other way to determine if you have obd1 or 2 on a b18b is count the number of big plugs you have on top of your distributor. on a obd1, you will have 2 plugs. on a obd2, you will have 1.

this is going into an obd 1 car?
also that other sensor that you showed on the back to the right by the oil filter. It looks like the wires to the o2 sensor but someone forgot to unplug them when they took out the swap. and just ripped then out.

If the b18b harness will plug directly into the plugs on the shock tower you are ready to go simple and easy.
