Default tial wastegate pros/cons

what is the difference between a 38mm and 44mm. obviously the size, but why would somebody buy a 40mm or 44mm ove a 38mm. thanks

they are more expensive and you only get one when you need one. thats all i know, haha.

depending if u run low boost or high boost.

i think it would have to do with the amount of boost u running
and maybe the size of the manifold your using

big turbo low boost = big gate. high boost setups u can use smaller gate. i have a 35mm on 20lbs with no spiking or anything with a t3/t67.
