38mm tial wastgate. I need help with the vacume ports.

Default 38mm tial wastgate. I need help with the vacume ports.

I'm redoing my set-up on my mini me motor. I'm going to use the tial 38mm wastegate.It has two ports for the vacuum. I know I need to use the side one but whats the top on for. I'll be using a MBC. Let me know guyz and post pics if u can thanks alot

top is for EBC> just leave it open. dont plug it.

bottom is boost only (pre throttle body), top is for boost controller. if you run boost to it, the boost will spike. Dont plug it either.

allowing pressure to apply to the top one will force down and fight the spring from opening (how you get more boost). So T off your pressure line to the bottom and put the MBC to the top one.

I would not recommend using an MBC with a tial, springs are much more consistent and you should change out the spring if you want more boost. I always say MBCs on hondas are bad news... they always lead to a blown motor.

Okay thanks man/ I have a 6.5 psi spring in there now, and I only want to run 9 psi

whats a 6.5 psi spring? i thought they only come in bar? if its a .5 bar its 7.25psi.
