This isn't really a big deal at all but I just thought it was cool. Did you know that gen 4's (at least the fully loaded models) stay powered until you open a door? For instance if your windows are down or sunroof is open you can still operate them after you turn the car off until you open your door. Do all cars do that? Iono I just thought it was a nice amenity.

yes this is the exact reason that i hate passengers not used to riding in my car....they always barge out before im done closing the sunroof....

i wanted to use this system and some relay magic to wire up the dome light to be a courtesy light after you shut the car off...havent gotten around to it yet....

Haha no I knew it, I just always thought it was cool yo. Made me feel like a baller and I would pretend our ludes were luxary cars.

with a pricetag of 23k + in 1993 the prelude was considered pretty luxury....

Same here (well, 7 months for me).....cool, gonna have to make a point to do that today. Yay, something new. lol

 

yeah it always pisses me off when people get out of the car to fast. I always end up having to put the key back in or leaving the window open.

ditto! I yell at them too... funny thing is... some of them who complain... have the feature in their car also... and never knew about it!

ps: mine's a 5th gen btw, also has the feature

 

Back in the day, I used to cut the car off an yell "WAIT, DON'T GET OUT"!

 

Yeah, I like that feature too. My other car doesn't have it. VERY irritating when it comes to rolling the windows up as you are about to park.

If you ever want a good alarm... get a Clifford one, and you can get the window/sunroof module, so that you can close the windows with your remote...

It's really too bad they are so expensive =\
