i have a b16 tranny n i was jus driving dthen all of a sudden trannys making noise sound s like gears or something anybody selling their tranny over here or someone knows how to fix it they told me is jus a main bearing aight thanks

 

Ummm, more specifics please.

Is the noise when you're driving, stopped? When the clutch is in or out?

Checked your tranny fluid lately to see what it's like?

 

yeah am when im driving if i stop no noise no noise too if i step on the clutch or let go

 

i have the same problem. tranny making noise. i swapped by stock d-series motor back in and its making a lot of noise now. mostly, in first and second gear, the most noise is going on. making the same noise as yours. the noise goes away when i step on the clutch even when in neutral. once i release the clutch in any gear, it makes all this noise. on the highway, 3-5 gear are ok..not too much noise.

Your noise sounds like a mainshaft bearing. Either the input shaft bearing, or one of the other bearings inside the tranny.

So yours only makes noise when you are driving? Not when you're stopped AT ALL? Have you checked your tranny fluid? Start there.

 

tranny fluid. i put some in and drove around for a bit and it quieted down. you wont feel a difference in the noise until the fuild breaks in. i guess that i forgot to put some tranny fluid in when i swapped the stock motor in. try that...it should work
