Default maybe the tranny

ok so like when i park on my driveway (its like at a slant) and put it in first gear or reverse and let off of the clutch pedal my car stops (yes i know its supposed to do this), but when i leave it in any other gear besides first or reverse and let off the clutch pedal, it would like try to stop then rolls back, it tries to stop and then rolls back, i just thought that that was kinda of wierd cause isnt your tranny suppose to lock up (not really lock up but yeah) when you are on an incline in any gear when you let go of the clutch.... i was thinking that maybe just one of my axles is fucked from my swap.... like maybe one isnt in all the way or something...

ive done this to all of my buddy's car's and it locks... it doesnt roll... im confused

I suppose it depends on gearing... as first and reverse are very high gears, the others will let the car go or try to... I don't think its a issue... unless it drives strange... then worry about axles
