You need to have someone stand back there as you turn the key on and/or turn your radio on and off and see if they can hear the motor, if u listen closely you can hear it with the back seat down and then u know if your motor works or not if it does then the plastic strap in the antenna broke and you will have to buy a antenna mast and replace your antenna most likely you will have a broken peice of the plastic strap in there and dissasemble the motor to take it out, but before iget to far the new one might of just ran itself out of the motor? i bought a black aftermarket mast for like 20 $ cant remember sight but it looks great and hell of a lot cheaper than honda one.

yes i had to the plastic strap was broke and not long enough to reuse the antenna that was currently in there. well its stuck your next option is i guess u could do it yourself but u will prolly break it might want someone who has experiance when u turn the key on someone is going to have to pull the antenna out as it is unwinding i know its unwound but ur gonning to have to pull it out when its unwinding then you have to feed it back in to the motor and as long as its not broke or anything and thres not a piece stuck in t he motor part you can feed it right back in with no problems. if its to short or theres a peice stuck in the motor take motor out dissasemble pay attention to how it goes take old peice out then replace motor refeed it in or u can manually do it while u have it out make sure u dont whipe the grease off its suppose to be there.

New one from Honda is like 50 bucks. Same as the older Accord.

You could always get SIRIUS. I don't even listen to radio anymore, except for Howard Stern sometimes in the morning.

But he's switching to SIRIUS too, lol.

If you can get it down, you can unhook the power wire leading to it, and this way it will always stay down. But you still get reception. I listen to cd's all the time though so it doesn't matter.
