2003 CD/Clock display problem
I recently let my friend borrow my car and when I got it back my console display which includes my CD/Radio/Clock/Temp Controls, etc., is so dim I can barely see it.
Is anyone aware of a quick fix for this? I can't find a switch to turn up the brightness and the owner's manual doesn't offer any help. I'd rather save my time from having to take it in to the shop.. any help would be greatly appreciated!

The dimmer switch is right under the Fuel or Temp. gauge it the button that select Outside Temp, Gas Mileage, and Odometer turn it and it should fix the problem
That switch only controls the brightness of my instrument display(speedometer,odometer,etc).. it isn't connected to my radio/clock/temp display brightness. I'm not sure if it has a seperate control or none at all.
I've had this problem. I have a 2003 cpe. with 61,000 and all my center console lights went out. I took my car back to the dealer and they good-willed it. They told me it's a common problem. They tried to get me to pay labor, but I called American Honda and bitched. American Honda covered it all!!!!

</TD></TR></TABLE> You don't have to settle for having a broken radio. This is a common problem, not nothing you did. If they replaced mine for free as far out of warranty as I am, they will replace yours. If they try to make you pay labor then just get on the phone with American Honda. Trust me it won't cost you anything....

I have just recently repaired the display on my 03 Accord. it cost me $86.00, I remove the Radio and ther temp control panel myself, the dealer wanted almost $200.00 to do the job. it tok me about 15 minutes to remove the radio and about the same to reinstall the unit. I took the unit to Custom audio radio in whitby Ontario for repair and got it back the same day, The technican advise me that the repair may cost betwen $80.00 and $120.00. I also found out that this is a common problem with the 03-04 Accord. removing the unit was not very difficult
hope this helps.
