Default damage from wheel hop? ?

I was at the strip last week and got 3 runs in. Ecah time i had serious wheelhop in my 91 civic. I noticed a couple days later my steering wheel is tilted to the left pretty seriously. I then noticed the inside of my tires had metal sticking out. so i put new tires on and it still off to the left. What could i have damaged from the wheel hop that would affect my steering like that ?

have you tried getting it aligned, might have f'd a tie rod end possibly, have you jacked it up gave it a good looking around or did you just jump on H-T expecting someone to know what it could be since it could be a bunch of different things

I concur on the need to check alignment and would not be surprised if there is a bad ball joint or tie rod involved.

Axle hop is definitely not good but there may be something loose in the suspension that is making it easier for the excessive motion to begin.

Check all your motor mounts also, they play a big roll in wheel hop
