hello everybody.
i was wondering how you guys put your egt prob's on your mani's.

somone told me that ususly pepole drill a hole in the mani and tap it to the correct size and thats it.

isnt it better to drill a hole and weld a bung?

if there is enough material, you can drill and tap. on our log manifolds we have done that. if you are using a thinwall tubular manifold, yes the best way is to weld in a bung.

 

Drilled and tapped my drag mani, about 1 - 1.5 inchs from the head, useuaully in the 3rd runner. Im an idiot and drilled and tapped it in the 2nd runner, but oh well make sure you take your time.
