Default exhuast goes pup pup after valve adjustment??

Hey I adjusted my valves a few daysd ago. They were extremely tight and were causing me to run rich and run a low vacuum at idle.

Anyway i adjusted them to factory specs, but i put the feeler in from the spring side instead of the spark side so my reading may have been off slightly.

Anyway after i adjusted it the vacuum was great! My idle still wanders for some reason, and the idle sounds something like this:

VRRRRRRRRR pup VRRRRRRRRR pup pup VRR pup VRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

it has these sligh hickups in it- not sure if its becuase it was tuned on the tight setting and now the tune is off cause of the adjustment or becuase i adjusted it wrong? It sounds almost like a slight miss...

Ideas?

I am doing arp studs on thursday so i plan to readjust then...

retune for lidel and low end power may be needed. I have the same issue and the tuner said I need to retune.

its probably your timing. since you were running low vaccum your tuner adjusted the timing to where the engine liked it probably "retarted" cmopared to a motor with better vaccum . Now that you have better vaccum you may want to try adding timing at idle. around 28 degrees past TDC at idle might work. Then again i could be totaly wrong in your situation.
