My Fiber Images Hood has went to shit less than a year!!!!!
I keep bashing this any time i can get. My CF hood from fiber images is complete **** now. and they wont do a damn thing about it. i call and i get put on hold and they ACCIDENTLY hang up the line. no response to my emails and they just completely ignore me and will not do anything about it.
car is garage kept. Minimum sun Exposure. waxed and washed regularly. i only use mothers/Mequires Products. Ive had the hood Buffed twice and it fixed it for about 2 weeks each time and it goes back to normal.
here is a pic of the hood LESS THAN A YEAR OLD!!!!

There are write ups on how you can fix the oxidation. Most companies only apply a light coat of clear coat on their CF hoods. Take your hood to a body shop and have them apply a few new layers of clear coat for you.
$600 for a hood that is suppose to be the best in qaulity and appearance and i have to get it recleared with very minimal use. even tho they say they use UV protection and hoods will not fade.. Fiber Images is full of ****.

I've had my hood for about 3 years and it's still doing good. Sorry to hear that they're giving you the shaft.

i heard VIS was the best. i also heard seibon is the best. i dont think even the seibon hood costs 600+ shipping and those hoods are the best ive seen.

Same thing here. But mine got about 100 times worse after a big rain storm. I don't understand it. I waxed them every month. I guess I need to get them cleared.

yep thats exactly when mine started. during the 8 days of rain, bubbled and clear coat came off in some spots.
