Default b16a with skunk 2 stage 1 cams .... slower

I have a b16a in a crx with vafc2 recent mods have been the header, completing my exhaust system & skunk 2 stage 1 cams only, I took it down the 1/4 mile track & now the car runs 15.03 as compared to 15.00 !!!!

what do you mean, I just thought the cams had to be replaced & fuel intake had to be bumped up a bit just to make sure the motor does not run lean, which I did with the vafc & air fuel meter. What else has to be done?

get on a dyno and actually tune it. You could have easily made it too rich. Are you using a wideband O2, if not, then you really can't go by the a/f gauge.

You also need to tune your VTEC engagement point. It makes a big difference.
