Default 95jdm j22 crank into h22a4 block?

My friend is getting a motor built and the shop is saying that the crank from his 95 jdm motor is too big for the h22a4 motor. What are some of his options? Can he have it shaved down to fit? Are they even interchangable? Would it be easier for him to just buy a crank from a h22a4 motor. Not exactly sure what year the h22a4 is.

the 95 crank will only work in 92-97 blocks. for a 98 up block you need a 98 up crank. So look for a crank from a 98-01 prelude.
