I've had the blues. IMO, in the long run, you'll be a lot happier with Illuminas.

Ive had the blues while running on the blues. IMHO, Illuminas/Koni yellows are much better.

Blues are good shocks, but not for high rate springs (like your neuspeed race springs) or for severe drops. They're good for moderate drops and fairly low-rate springs like neuspeed sofsports, h&r oe's, or stock springs. don't get them if you plan to run them with race springs or low drops (which usually go together). if you want a set of good non-adjustable shocks, get bilstein. if you want adjustable, get koni yellows. BTW, AGX's don't like being lowered more than 1.5-2"...how low are the neuspeed race springs?...I thought they were about 2-2.25"? HTH.

Veering slightly off-topic . . . .

But does H&R have an OE sport spring application for the prelude? It's not listed on their website (www.hrsprings.com), but there's a seller on groupbuycenter.com that says he's got 'em.

I BEG TO DIFFER, I HAVE A 96 HONDA CIVIC WITH NEUSPEED RACE SPRINGS AND TOKICO BLUES AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE 2 YEARS THEY HAVE BEEN ON MY CAR. OH YEAH, DID I FAIL TO MENTION I HAVE EXTRA WEIGHT IN THE FRONT DUE TO MY B18C1. THEY HAVE GIVEN ME NO PROBLEMS EVEN WITH THE MOTOR SWAP.
Did they also hit your caps-lock when you weren't looking? A friend of mine has the blues, and he likes them a lot.

most honest shops will tell u that the blues are nothing more than an upgrade d OEM replacement..if u dont want an adjustable shock/strut setup for the higher rate springs get the koni reds instead
