Ok I my trans is from a jdm interga xsi 92-93 cable YS1. I have been running a act 6 puck and a stock clutch from a 93 jdm b16a with no problem ( well I hated the six puck and the stock disc exploded, but they fit) I ordered a CM 300 segmented Kevlar clutch for a 92 teg. Its too small, the ******* tranny would not go in and after wrestling with it for a while I pulled it off and put a micrometer on it.

Both have 24 splines if you count the inner apexes of the splines , what gives?

must be a 90-91 disc they have a smaller imput shaft then the 92+

 

i think they had two diff 24 spline shafts same tranny, anyone run ito this before?

 

you have a big input shaft... they sent you a clutch for a small input shaft

thats simple as that the 90-91 used the samll shaft vs the 92-up all large shaft similar with the b16a discs some are larger some are small based on year

 

2 hundreths of an inch off? I would choke that up to manufacturing tolerances, not a whole other shaft size.

 

that is seriously the only diff. bewteen the big and small shafts...
