Default Someone help please!!! my da is smoking bad!!!

my 91 integra (ls/vtec) started puffing out white smoke a couple weeks ago, but it was on and off. and it wasnt that bad. But gradually it got worse and the last week its been really bad. So bad that i couldnt even drive it home from college so it was filling up the highway with smoke and it started to bog so i didnt wanna mess up my motor. So i towed it to my house and this weekend i worked on it. It was puffing out this white smoke that smelt bad so everyone told me its probably the head gasket...i bought a head gasket and took of my head but the gasket didnt look that bad. so then someone told me it could be the piston rings. so i opened the block and the piston rings did look bad and i changed them. i put eveerything back and started the car. but again the same problem. so now im stuck and no one has any ideas of what it could be. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

white smoke means theres water in the system......most likely its the head gasket....but check all your oil seals and gaskets..there might be a leak somewhere else.....not too sure what it could be if you already changed out the gasket.....and did you torque it back to spec? because over torqueing could crush the gasket too.......well good luck with the search for a solution.

did you check your sleeves head for cracks, and see if your deck and head for imperfections and straightness?

why didn't you do a compression and leak down test before you took everything apart?

have you checked your intake manifold for cracks? coolant could be coming in from the intake manifold...seeing that coolant runs up there too.

Burning oil possibly?
Is it coming out of the exhaust? or from under the hood?

wow never knew spark plugs could do that...unless the spark plug gromets were leaking and the washers on the spark plugs were bad.
