i found an LS block thats been freshly honed , the block is bare and the guy wants 100 bucks...what is honed mean lol

 

It means that they sent a honer through the cylinders to smoothen/slightly hatch the cylinder walls to repair any damage that the pistons had caused. Its a cheaper alternative to boring .25 over and can even be done with a drill and a honing tool, as long as the person is experienced.
