yea i locked myself outta my del sol w/ shaved door handles i just got the car recently and i forgot i didnt have door handles anyway i can open up the car and get my keys or do i have to break my window?! thanx its a 1994 del sol si

 

i'd say call a locksmith, even though you don't have locks, he might be able to pop it open with one of those bars they slide down next to the window.

that would be the police there champ. No lock smith around here carries a slim jim unless they practice another trade on the side.

to the orginal poster, so will you be adding door handles now?

If the seller wasnt dumbfuct enough, he should have installed a catch button to release the door. Sometimes its under the car, he should have at least 2 remotes too...

 

i've locked my keys out of my car about 3 times, and every time, the locksmith had a slimjim. i've never seen one that dosn't. its their job

 

I've locked my keys in twice... But i carry i spare key in my wallet, so I was straight.

Go to Autozone, buy yourself a $10 slim jim and slide it between youre window and your door, just try not to break anything.

 

Does it have power or manual windows, in my car i got a metal hanger between the window and the weather stripping very carefully and then hooked onto the window **** and rolled the window down enough to get my arm in and just open it from the inside Of course this wont work with power windows

 

del Sol windows are stupid flexible. Get yourself a wire hanger, unfold it. Get a credit card or driver's license. Slide it in between the window and the rubber and pry the window open. Slide the hanger in, hook side. Slide it down, catch your inner door handle, and tug. Voila.

No, I haven't broken into my del Sol eleventy billion times... whatever are you talking about? :D

 

Using a coat hanger and so fourth is harder then it sounds. and can be really frustrating if its your first time. I suggest you call AAA or something and pay the 25 bucks

 

yea i used everyones advice use a slim metal bar something like a slim jim and 2 hangers haha messed up my weather strip a lil bit but eureka OPEN SESAME!!!!! took me 30 mins -.- thnx for all the help guys/girls

i break into cars with a wedge and a coat hanger

or

bust up a spark plug, take the pocelien and throw at window =P that works everytime without fail

 

If you can't get the credit card to work, use a screwdriver! works without fail (from experience
