ITR cams intake or exhuast or will I need both to run on a gsr head?
there is this guy on HT who is selling the intake ITR cam only, can I only run one ITR cam and leave the exhuast one stock on my gsr head? I thought the exhuast one give you more Hp correct me if I am wrong but but will I actually lose power if I run the ITR intake cam shaft on one side and GSR on the other?
u will gain some what, or u could buy my skunk2 stage 1 cams, which are larger then CTR/ITR cams, i have the orginal boxes, carb sticker, only have 6k mlies on them, $425 with those skunk2 cams u will gain a lot more then ITR cams

I'm running just a ctr intake cam and the stock gsr exhaust cam. Gains in HP is real slight. Barely even noticeable by the butt dyno. I noticed a difference in the high end mostly. I've been running this set up for the past 3 years. No problems what so ever.
If you know how to install it go ahead and get one, if you decide to get the other one you can always install it yourself. If your going to get someone to do it you might as well just buy the set and get them both installed. When I had itr intake cam only made my car a lot louder. Made it sound pretty quick

i always recommend getting itr/ctr cams with aftermarket sprockets, fuel injectors and hondata.....dyno tune it and you should see a few gains......along with your basic bolt ons, such as I/H/E and other misc. bolt ons.....

installing cams are pretty simple. If you installing springs and retainers, it can get a bit harder if you dont know what your doing....after installing cams, use a feeler guage and check your valve clearence and do it in the following order, 1,4,3, and 2 I believe..

You don't have to use both cams, although I would. I have JDM ITR's in my LSVTEC and they do awesome. Skunk2 stage 1's are hardly more aggressive then ITR's. If I were you I'd get a CTR Intake cam and an ITR exhaust cam.
