i always wondered why it said 1.761 and 1.762 when i'm sure that it is the exact same gear.

Well, I've been wanting to contact you because of this:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Mista Bone &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">DX
1st----3.250---0000/6800---34.8mph
2nd---1.761---3685/6800---64.3mph
3rd----1.172---4526/6800---96.9mph
4th----0.909---5274/6800---124.5mph
5th----0.702---5251/6800---161.3mph
</TD></TR></TABLE>

That is so off.
I have an lx (same as DX in powertrain) and these are my ratios:
1st: 33 mph at 6.8k
2nd: 57 mph at 6.8k
3rd: ~85 mph at ~6.8k
4th: about 110 mph.....

Your gears are off man, at least in the LX/DX tranny. And my car is completely stock, stock tires, wheels, tranny, etc... just letting you know....

that's because the lx has a different final drive.

How about for the 96-00 OBDII civic EX? Do they have the same ratios as the 92-95 EX? And are the trannies interchangable between OBDI and OBDII?
