Luis!!!
Most times the window channel runs have to be cleaned out. They pick up all manner of crud as you're tooling around the Island, and eventually interfere with operations.
Some of the guys in here relate there's a product they use (Japanese for Monkey Snot) that they use once the channels are cleaned out to lubricate them.
I'll try to find you the threads which are applicable.

i nominate this as the most frequently asked questions from accord owners, i too own a 97 accord, and yes, the windows on mine messed up, all the motors messed up, but i doubt its your motors because you probably would have also stated that its making strange electrical noises like the motor is trying to work but the window isnt moving.. but in your case, i believe too much crap has built up in the window channel as Adams stated

All the motors are weak so if you cleaned and lubricated the wire and still have this problem, is it best to replace the motor?

It is the window channels (Items #12 & #13 in the supplied illustration) that require cleaning. Not the regulator motor assembly itself.

http://www.hondaautomotivepart...INDOW

The drill revolves around dust, dirt and volcanic dust (In Luis's case ) building up in the window guide channels, binding them up. Cleaning them and applying a dry-lube takes care of 90% of this.

get a can of wd40 and spray the run channel from the top and let the wd40 just dribble its way down ,,see if it helps if it does ,,u got to do as P- stated, clean the run channel properly or even install new channels ........if it does not help u need to remove door panel , therer are 10mm bolts that hold the lower part of the channel in loosen them and spread them a bit ( outwards ) , tighten the bolts , see if it helps ,,,if still have a problem might have an issue with motor being on its last breath .....

No, you're not blind. And I wasn't using "Stealth" Web Links either LOL

Sorry, that usually doesn't happen. Exhausted from all this typing, most likely.
Either that, or I suddenly realized I really have to get a life, roaming Tech forums on a Saturday ????
